Metal printing

For very complex shapes or weight-optimized parts that cannot be produced conventionally, metal printers (SLM / DMLS) are used.

These printed metal parts have the same mechanical properties as turned or milled parts.

Metal printing finds a large application e.g

  • in tool making with inserts for cooling close to the contour
